Great minds really do think alike. Subaru and skiing producer Nordica have worked the past 10 years concocting a new product–a new vehicle– that can handle cold weather and snowing areas. That is why the new 2013 XV Crosstrek has been creative. For the new snowsports season, Subaru and Nordica decided to have the XV Crosstrek Run. The XV Crosstrek Run is where two snowsport athletes travel across America to promote the new crossover ride. “When Subaru announced the unveiling of the all-new XV Crosstrek and explained the target audience, it was instantly clear we could help because it is one that we have been targeting for a few years now,” said Andy Hare, director of product and promotions, Nordica USA.
They picked skiers Liam McKinley and Luke Tyler Hagearty to complete their mission of telling skiing enthusiasts and automobile enthusiasts alike about the XV Crosstrek. Hagearty drives a 2002 Subaru Forester. He will not only talk about the experience he has had with Subaru vehicles, but he will be the featured skier while McKinley records him during his runs. Nordica handpicked the two skiers for this journey across the United States. Stay tuned for more details by following #XVCrosstrekRun on Twitter.
